Friendly, helpful staff. Beautiful scenery

The chalets are old with a lot of stuff that doesn’t work; The beds were super uncomfortable, the heating didn’t work for the first few days, one bedroom was missing it’s curtains, leaking faucet, etc And there’s nowhere to put your coats and bags once you enter the main hotel/living room

Lo mejor de todo la calidez y atencion de los garzones y las camarera qu nos toco en el segundo nivel 209/210. Quede gratamante sorprendidad, y con muchas ganas de repetir la experiencia. No hacen diferencia del extranjero a nosotros los chilenos, es la misma atención y súper. Paisajes maravillosos, lo recomiendo !!!!

Que me caí muchas veces en la nieve pero eso también tuvo su encanto.

Great food, atmosphere, staff, skiing/snowboarding, hot-tubbing, after hours, and activities.

I really don't have much negative feedback to give. While the meals are included, drinks (everything except tap water, tea, and coffee) are expensive. In fact, most things that you will pay for on site are expensive (lessons, massages, alcohol, soda, t-shirts, etc.). Some planning before going to the hotel will help with this. I would recommend stopping by a store to get soft drinks and alcohol (or at least make a stop in the Duty Free shop before you get on a shuttle) before heading to the Portillo. This will save you a good deal of money. The rooms aren't huge, but they were more than sufficient. All in all, it was the best vacation of my life. My wife and I will definitely be going back.

Food, snow quality, general ambience, staff and service, and location.

The hotel itself is showing it's age, but the good from that is that attracts the serious skiers which helps create a great mix of personalities.
