WI-FI Internet Connection

Portillo guests could connect to the Internet through a wireless connection using their own laptops from the comfort of their guest rooms.

New lift!

Portillo introduces a new ski lift. Laz Vizcachas, the new Va et Vient ski lift similar to Roca Jack and Condor, is 1,542 feet in length and has a vertical drop of 722 feet. This lift is located between the Las Lomas and Los Canarios lifts. With the addition of Las Vizcachas, Portillo now has 13 ski lifts which service 35 trails.

The Spirit of the Andes

The exciting new book “Portillo, the Spirit of the Andes” , written by Henry Purcell is now available. The book is 300 pages long and tells, in story and pictures, the history of Portillo from before the time of the Incas to the present day. The book may be purchased in the Portillo store.The value of the book is US$ 100.00. The cost of sending the book by FEDEX is the following: South America US$62, North America, USA Mexico and Canada US$64 and Europe US$84

New Service Center

Those who visit Portillo this season will encounter a new service platform at the base of the Plateau run. This building will have restrooms, a cafeteria, and a timekeeping office for all races realized on the Plateau run.
