Basic Terms and Conditions

The reservations and management of tourist services are managed by Global Andes LLC, a company legally based in the USA and operated by a sales and operations team based in Chile in conjunction with its service providers (ground tour operators, hotels, transportation and other services.) Current rates and conditions may vary without prior notice and are the sole responsibility of the service provider.

Rates and Taxes

Rates are expressed in U.S. Dollars and do not include taxes. Tourists not residing in Chile do not pay taxes, if they pay their reservations in U.S. Dollars. Residents in Chile must pay a 19% VAT tax.

Methods of payment

1.- Credit card

Once the tour service is confirmed by our team, we will send you a secure payment link, which you must complete with your credit card information.

2.- Bank wire transfer or international wire:

Once the tourist service is confirmed by our staff, you must make the total deposit of the services in the bank account that we will inform you.


Once we receive the total payment of the tourist services, we will send an electronic voucher by e-mail, which must be printed and presented to each of the included services (hotels, guides, transportation, etc).


Once the client receives confirmation of the services requested by a member of our company, our company will require a reservation guarantee deposit or full payment of the services in order to ensure the availability of the requested service. The full payment or balance must be received at least 30 days prior to the passenger's arrival date. In the event that the service is not paid within these dates there will be no security to maintain the reservation, and it will be cancelled.

Reservations through our website: All online reservations of packages and hotels made through our site, in which information of dates, names of passengers, rooms, etc. is the full responsibility of the person making the reservation. Chileanski.com is not responsible for erroneous information that has been entered through the reservation system. This is an automatic reservation system in which Chileanski.com has no control over the information entered by each passenger.

Cancellation Policy:

Cancellation policies for ski packages with hotel accommodations are as follows:

60 days or more before the booked arrival date: 10% of the total reservation

59 - 30 days before the booked arrival date: 30% of the total reservation

29 - 0 days before the booked arrival date: 100% of the total reservation

Important: It does not apply for reservations with promotional rates or discounts, which depends and varies by each ski resort.

There is no refund for unused services.

Uses of Information

All information provided by the client is strictly confidential and will only be used by chileanski.com, in order to process reservations.

Claims and Refunds

Except for verifiable extenuating circumstances, no refunds will be issued for any services not received. Please review our Limit of Liability listed on this page. For verifiable claims to be considered, they must be received in writing within 30 days after completion of the tour service and must be accompanied by documentation and/or a statement from the tour provider operating the tour verifying the claim. No adjustment will be made for non-utilization of services such as meals, accommodation, transfers, etc. Chileanski.com will not accept responsibility for any claim that is not received within 30 days after the end of your trip.

Liability of Chileanski.com

Chileanski.com through Global Andes LLC, is an intermediary company of the goods and/or services offered to its customers. Its task is to offer tourist services provided by the accommodations (hotels) and tour operators.

This company does not have, nor does it assume control of such suppliers and is not responsible and shall not be liable for any death, delay, loss, damage, injury, accident, acts of terrorism or acts of terrorism related checks, natural catastrophes, or any irregularity that the client or his belongings may suffer as a result of any event or through the negligence of any individual or company to whom the services are entrusted. This company reserves the right to accept or reject any entity or any of its services or products offered or to cancel or change any of these services if there is any cause against this company. The approval and acceptance of the services offered by chileanski.com will be linked to the acceptance of the conditions described above.

Chileanski.com reserves the right to adjust prices in U.S. dollars without notice to reflect fluctuations in the foreign exchange markets. It also reserves the right to withdraw a tour or part of a tour, to make alterations to the itinerary when it appears necessary or advisable, to refuse to accept or retain as a tour member any person at any time and to hold tour members liable for any expenses or losses caused by delays or events beyond their control. Confirmation or payment of the cost of the tour constitutes acceptance of the Terms and Conditions stated herein and in the specific documentation prior to the tour.

Refunds, No Snow and others

CHILEANSKI.COM does not make refunds of any kind in the case of early departure, or check out before the date of your original reservation.

If the case is an arrival after the check in date of the reservation, no refunds will be made for services that were not used, nor will the stay be carried over to the following days. The only exception to this is in the case of road closure.

In case of lack of snow, the ski resorts have modern snowmaking technology. However, if this is not enough, Valle Nevado will reimburse 100% of the paid reservations corresponding to that date. This is not the case of the ski centers El Colorado, La Parva and Nevados de Chillán where the ski center is independent of the hotel stay.

The condition of the access road to the Andes Mountains is maintained by the Chilean Ministry of Public Works, therefore the ski resorts are not responsible for its condition

Premature departures

Premature departures are considered when the guest leaves the hotel before the date stipulated in the original reservation. In such a case, Chileanski.com will not reimburse the guest for the value for services not used due to early check-out.

Late Arrivals

When a guest arrives at the hotel one or more days after the date of their reservation, the hotel will not reimburse the guest for unused services. Likewise, we will not extend your stay at the hotel beyond the original departure date.

No-Snow Policy for Valle Nevado:

Valle Nevado enjoys a modern snowmaking system; however, if due to a shortage of snow, all of its lifts are closed on a specific date during the season, Valle Nevado will refund 100% of the amount paid for each reservation corresponding to that date.

Alternatively, payments may be credited for reservations on other days of the same season, taking into account possible price differences that may exist between the dates in question.

Closed Road Policies

The Chilean Ministry of Public Works maintains the access road to the Andes Mountains, and is therefore responsible for keeping it clean and clear, in the event of a snowstorm.
