• Always use sunglasses
• Do not consume alcoholic beverages in transit to and from Valle Nevado
• Valle Nevado does not have a pharmacy on the premises for which we recommend you bring enough of any special medication with you for your stay with us.
• Valle Nevado suggests you taking a travelers insurance policy that covers you in Chile
• Electrical power in Chile is 220 volts

Recommendations for Skiers / SnowBoarders

• Check appropriate clothing for snow. Use gloves and socks that fit your hands and feet.
• Fasteners must be adjusted properly to boots.
• Equipment must be revised in a ski shop at the start of the season.
• Do not forget your ski/lift ticket.

• Request the map of the trails indicating the degree of difficulty per trail.
• Select runs in accordance with your ability level.
• Respect the safety norms and signs posted along the trails.
• Skiing off the marked trails implies risk, and you will be skiing/riding at your own risk.
• Respect all rules for your own sake as well as for the sake of the other skiers/riders. These rules are available at the different sales points which provide skiing services.

1. Keep your ticket with you to enter the slopes
2. Respect others, the trails are for everyone
3. Always stay in control
4. The person in front or downhill of you has the preference
5. If you must stop, do so on the side of the trail, for your own safety and that of others
6. Before descending, remember to look up and yield to oncoming skiers or snowboarders
7. Choose your trails according to your level ability level
8. In the event of an accident, wait for the ski patrol to arrive
9. If you ski or ride out of bound or groomed slopes you assume responsibility for taking risks
