Rates for 2008 Winter Ski season are updated!

The Valle Nevado resort boasts three hotels (Hotel Valle Nevado, Hotel Puerta del Sol and Tres Puntas) as well as an apartment complex (Edificio Valle del Sol).

All rooms in the hotels are equipped with central heating, cable TV, mini bar, telephone, safe, background music, full bath and daily housekeeping services.

Half Board (breakfast at La Fourchette and dinner at any of the restaurants prior reservation).
Unlimited access to ski lifts. Valid until the day before your check out.
Apress Ski at Valle Nevado Lobby. Schedule: 16:30 to 18:00 hrs.
Sauna, exercise room, aerobics and stretching lessons. One body massage per person (basic treatment, 25 minutes) only for reservations of 7 or more nights, only for passengers older than 11 years old. Not transferable and personal, subject to availability. Schedule 10:00 to 16:00 hrs. Daily reservation until 10:00 am.
Outdoor heated pool, children's daycare (3 to 7 years old), games room, discoteque, pub, and activities.
Ski lockers.
Ski and snowboard maintenance (repairs not included). It is base maintenance, sharpening edges and waxing.
Welcome drink. One Pisco Sour per pax at Bar Valle Lounge.
Wi-Fi in rooms and public areas.
Free Internet in the Cyber café, subject to availability of PCs. One hour limited time use, renewable.

Valle Nevado Reservation and Cancelation Policies

Cancellations Policies

The cancellation policies are as follows:

* 60 days or more prior to arrival to hotel: : 10% of total reservation
* 59 - 30 days prior to arrival to hotel: : 30% of total reservation
* 29 - 0 days prior to arrival to hotel: : 100% of total reservation

Early Departures:

Early departure is considered whenever the guest checks-out prior to the date stipulated on the original reservation. In such case, Valle Nevado will not reimburse guest for the value of any unused services.

Late Arrivals:

Whenever a guest checks in one or more days after the arrival date of the reservation, Valle Nevado will not reimburse for the value of any unused portion of the services. Likewise, accommodations will not be extended beyond the original departure date.

Groups:

For group reservations, the policy is as follows: Exemptions. For each reservation of 20 paying adults based on a double or single room occupancy (not including additional beds, a third or fourth bed), one guest shall be exempt from payment, at a double room rate.

No Snow Policy:

Valle Nevado boasts a modern snowmaking system; however, if due to a lack of snow all lifts are closed on a specific date during the season, Valle Nevado will reimburse 100% of the amounts paid for each reservation corresponding to that date.

Alternatively, payments made may be credited towards reservations for other dates during the same season, thereby employing the amount deposited to credit the account in case there are any rate differences among the weeks or products in question.

Road Closed Policy:

The Chilean Ministry of Public Works maintains the access road to the Andes Mountains and is therefore responsible for clearing the road in the event of snowstorms. Even though Valle Nevado offers support and machinery for the execution of these tasks, Valle Nevado is not responsible for the road conditions.

In light of this situation, Valle Nevado will proceed in the following manner:

Guests in Santiago who are unable to drive up to Valle Nevado will be directly responsible for their accommodation expenses in Santiago while the road remains closed and the nights that were not used at the Valle Nevado resort will be accredited to their accounts. In this case, guests may choose to transfer this credit to their account for any extra services; credit it towards a future reservation within the same season.
Guests who are at Valle Nevado are unable to go down the mountain and must spend the night in the resort, the first night's accommodations will be charged at the normal rate to the guest's account. If the stay extends to a second night, a 50% discount will be applied to the normal rate.
Valle Nevado offers an optional use of a helicopter transportation service which is only operable during favorable climatic conditions. This service is subject to availability and the passenger is responsible to assume the cost of this service.
